Pricing and quotes
How much does a plumber cost?
We give a fixed written price before any work begins, the call out costs nothing, and the number you approve is the number on the invoice.
Do you charge more for nights or weekends?
No, overtime rates simply do not exist here, so a Sunday night burst pipe is priced the same way as a Tuesday morning tap repair.
What does the $0 call out actually cover?
The assessment and the quote. Your plumber inspects the problem properly, explains what it needs and hands you a fixed price in writing. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing.
How does payment work?
Card, cash and payment plans are all accepted, and everything is settled against the fixed price you approved, never an open-ended hourly meter.

Emergencies and availability
How fast can you get here in an emergency?
A licensed plumber answers the phone around the clock and the van working these streets is usually nearby, so most urgent calls are attended quickly.
Is a blocked drain an emergency?
A single slow fixture can wait for a booking, but a gully surging or more than one fixture backing up needs an urgent call before wastewater enters the house. Our emergency plumbing team handles those calls day and night.
What should I do while waiting for an emergency plumber?
Turn off the water at the meter for a burst or overflow, isolate the gas at the meter if you smell gas, and cut power to a leaking hot water unit. Then call (02) 9072 0504. A burst pipe, a gas leak or an overflowing toilet all have make-safe steps we will talk you through.
Is no hot water an emergency?
If the unit is leaking onto flooring or wiring, treat it as one and call immediately. If it is simply running cold, it can usually wait for a booked hot water repair rather than an after-hours callout.

Services and older homes
Can you work on old Federation and bungalow homes?
Yes, the suburb's pre-war housing stock with earthenware drains and galvanised supply lines is our everyday work, and we carry the parts and adaptors those homes need.
Why do drains here block so often?
Mature canopy trees and big garden blocks push roots into ageing clay sewer joints, so root intrusion is the most common drainage call we attend. A CCTV drain inspection shows exactly what is happening underground before any digging starts.
Should I repair or replace my hot water system?
We test the unit, show you the evidence and recommend honestly, because a sound tank with a failed valve or element is worth fixing while a corroded one is not. When replacement is the right call, hot water replacement is usually a single-visit job.
Do you handle small jobs too?
Yes. A dripping tap, a running cistern, a leaking shower or a dishwasher connection gets the same fixed-price treatment as a major bathroom plumbing renovation, with no job too small to quote.
Can you help me prevent problems rather than fix them?
Absolutely. Booked maintenance plumbing catches worn flexi hoses, ageing valves and slow drains before they become ceiling stains or midnight floods, which suits homes that have held the same pipework for decades.

The local area
Do you service suburbs outside Roseville?
Yes, we cover the surrounding Ku-ring-gai area including Lindfield, Killara, Chatswood, Roseville Chase and Castlecrag, every day of the week. Each has its own page if you live over the boundary.
Are your plumbers licensed and insured?
Every plumber on the team works under licence #275278C with full insurance, and compliance paperwork is provided with the invoice on every job.
Is your work guaranteed?
Every job is covered by our Lifetime Labour Warranty, so if anything we have done is not right, we come back and make it right at no cost.
Where can I read more about the team?
The about page explains how we work and what we stand for, and the contact page has the fastest ways to reach us, whether you prefer to ring or book a callback. Still unsure? Call (02) 9072 0504 and describe what is happening. A licensed plumber will tell you what it likely means, what it might involve, and when we can realistically be there, before you commit to anything.
